A cooperation has been signed between the Cavotec Group, with it's headquarters at Ablasserdam, the Netherlands and Mooring Systems Limited based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Mooring Systems Limited, started in 1996, has developed a revolutionary system for mooring ships with the use of vacuum. This system had already been installed with great success in the ports of Wellington and Picton, New Zealand and at Patrick’s Shipping Company in Melbourne, Australia.
